Lily Feidy, Ph.D. is Dean of Faculty of Arts & Hind Al Husseini College for Women, having recently stood down as CEO of the Palestinian Initiative for the Promotion of Global Dialogue and Democracy (MIFTAH), which she led from May 2006 to July 2018. At MIFTAH, Dr Feidy had been be responsible for strategic planning and program development at the organization. She has a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics from the University of Delaware in the US. and is an Adjunct Professor at the Department of English at Birzeit University. Throughout her career, Dr Feidy has been an advocate of human rights, democracy, peacebuilding and gender issues. She is also active in promoting, good governance, accountability and integrity in Palestine. Dr Feidy is a permanent fellow at the Salzburg Seminar in Austria and a board member in several international organizations including The American-Palestinian Peace Organization (AMPAL) and The Arab Women Leadership Institute.
